Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center Hawaiian and Pacific Islands Division Job Description rev. 11/25/25 POSITION TITLE: Child Watch Lead DEPARTMENT: Kroc Center Hawaii - Member Services SUPERVISOR: Member Services Manager FLSA STATUS: Non Exempt CLASSIFICATION: Part Time, Hourly Pay $15 - $15.50 GENERAL STATEMENT: The Salvation Army is a branch of the Christian Church, and the ultimate goal of all programs is a spiritual, emotional and physical regeneration of all people. POSITION SUMMARY: The Child Watch Lead's primary function is to oversee staff, volunteers, and both large and small groups of children ages 6 months to 11 years old in short-term childcare while parents or guardians are utilizing The Salvation Army Kroc Center. The Child Watch Lead will be responsible for receiving payment of child watch services by cash, check, credit card or debit card through a Point of Sales (POS) system, providing information, and answering questions. The Child Watch Lead will have a deep commitment to the mission of The Salvation Army, which will be evident in his or her professional life and the manner in which he or she represents The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in the community. CERTIFICATES & LICENSES: Candidate chosen for this position must have a valid driver's license and insured transportation. On an annual basis, employees are required to participate in The Salvation Army's Fleet Safety Program Candidate must hold CPR/First Aid/AED certification at time of hire or ability to be certified within a reasonable amount of time after hire date. CLEARANCES: The candidate chosen for this position will be required to pass a criminal history information check. Conviction of a crime will not automatically preclude employment.
