The General Manager Collision USCA will have full P&L responsibility for the Collision segment of the Automotive Refinish Business Unit across the United States and Canada. This leader will drive increased shareholder value through improved sales and EBIT by developing and executing a strategic vision focused on profitable growth. Key Responsibilities
- Understand the Collision industry and implement strategies that deliver sustainable growth.
- Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities through new and existing channels.
- Build and execute plans to maximize short- and long-term value creation.
- Protect and grow PPG brands across the USCA region.
- Collaborate with all SBU leaders to facilitate cross-selling of PPG coating products.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales year-over-year, exceeding market growth by strengthening customer relationships, driving operational excellence, expanding sales channels, and executing expansion plans.
- Achieve EBIT targets by managing existing segments effectively, leveraging new product and segment opportunities (including digital strategies), and reducing complexity in alignment with central Marketing and R&D.
- Maintain and grow partnerships with Collision Multi Shop Organizations (MSOs) across the USCA region.
- Ensure the Collision team operates with the highest standards of work ethic, compliance, and safety in line with PPG policies.
- Collaborate with central Marketing to ensure consistent deployment of new product and service strategies across the region.
- Identify and implement strategic solutions to leverage synergies within the Allied Product segment, enhancing collaboration, optimizing resources, and driving integrated growth.
- Lead human resources strategy to attract, develop, retain, and engage a diverse, highly skilled workforce. Build a strong succession pipeline and finalize organizational changes to capture market opportunities and support cultural evolution.
Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a seasoned commercial leader with full P&L accountability for a country or multi-country scope and proven expertise in sales, marketing, and operations.
- Demonstrated success in growing a "top of mind" brand with the ability to influence, build consensus, and earn trust across diverse stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset focused on results, with the ability to align and execute short- and long-term strategic plans.
- Strong communication skills and confident humility to gain respect internally and externally.
- Proven track record of attracting and retaining talent, working effectively in cross-cultural environments, and experience within global or regional enterprises.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
