Security Officer - Industrial Patrol

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Taylorsville, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all personnel. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or access.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering designated areas within the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and local authorities as required to support security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
