Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail locations, conducting routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for guests and staff. You will be highly visible throughout the premises, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication, while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. This position is a driving post, where your presence will contribute to a positive experience for everyone at the location, all while working within a supportive and people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure atmosphere for visitors and staff.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions to management and/or local authorities as directed by site guidelines.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter criminal activity and provide assistance as needed to customers and employees.
• Follow all Allied Universal protocols and client-specific procedures while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
