Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver in Greensboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine driving patrols. You will remain visible throughout the location and provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional presence. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for conducting mobile patrols and responding promptly to situations as they arise. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail environment and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disturbances.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns in and around the location.
• Assist customers and employees with general information and support as needed during patrols.
• Work environments and conditions may vary based on the site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Having a current guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
