Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Clinton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a dynamic food and beverage location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry to restricted areas within the food and beverage location.
• Observe and report any unusual conditions, hazards, or suspicious activity encountered during patrols.
• Assist with reporting and documentation of incidents or occurrences as required by site procedures.
• Support Allied Universal supervisors and management with tasks related to maintaining a secure environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
