The Materials Receiving Coordinator is responsible for managing the flow of materials and supplies within the facility and project sites. This role involves coordinating purchasing, inventory control, and materials distribution to ensure timely and efficient support to production or operations.
Essential Functions


  1. Adhere to the company's ISO Quality Management System.
  2. Administer accurate records to ensure required traceability, precision and/or evidence that each material handling operation is documented, and transaction history is reliably maintained.
  3. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policy and procedures in handling and storing materials.
  4. Maintain inventory stock room in a clean, organized, and safe manner in accordance with defined standards and policies being sure to properly dispose of any unnecessary debris, clutter and product recycling.
  5. Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
  6. Coordinate the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, supplies and equipment.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
  8. Process customer and supplier material return authorizations' (RMAs) with the cooperation and coordination of Supply Chain and Quality department representatives.
  9. Work with Supply Chain to ensure timely delivery of materials and PO issues.
  10. Maintain accurate records in Manex and inventory management systems.
  11. Track movement of materials between Quality and Inventory to support projected timelines and production schedules.
  12. Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding order status, lead times and discrepancies.
  13. Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles to include lifting and stocking material in appropriate areas throughout the inventory area.
  14. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is working in a warehouse/office type setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, use fine hand motor skills/dexterity, use repetitive motions, and lift and/or move up to 35 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience


  1. High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
  2. Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.



Preferred Education and Experience


  1. Knowledge of Inventory Management Software, Job Management Software and appropriate supplier and UPS Wordship software.
  2. Knowledge of electronic components and equipment.
  3. Associate degree in electronic related field.
