Snowflake is about empowering enterprises to achieve their full potential - and people too. With a culture that's all in on impact, innovation, and collaboration, Snowflake is the sweet spot for building big, moving fast, and taking technology - and careers - to the next level.

There is only one Data Cloud. Snowflake's founders started from scratch and designed a data platform built for the cloud that is effective, affordable, and accessible to all data users. But it didn't stop there. They engineered Snowflake to power the Data Cloud, where thousands of organizations unlock the value of their data with near-unlimited scale, concurrency, and performance. This is our vision: a world with endless insights to tackle the challenges and opportunities of today and reveal the possibilities of tomorrow.

Snowflake's Sales Strategy & Business Operations team is seeking an Associate, GTM Business Operations to help define and drive the company's go-to-market strategy and operating plan. Our goal is to expand Snowflake's addressable market and improve market penetration through targeted investments.

In this individual contributor role you will support strategy and business planning across Snowflake's go-to-market teams, including market expansion planning and data center strategy, GTM architecture, performance analysis and improvement across sales geographies and segments, ...
Additionally, you will partner closely with our regional sales leaders, partners, marketing, service and operations teams to implement this strategy, working collaboratively to put in place new processes, systems and best practices to successfully execute on Snowflake's vision.

What you bring: You love combining strategy with execution, and you roll up your sleeves to bring plans to life. You are a "full stack" player; comfortable in lead or support roles across a variety of projects and responsibilities. You have a passion for technology and the role it plays in market, industry and company change. As a builder at heart, you have an appreciation for the operational components needed in order to build a world-class software company.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL GET TO:
  • Evaluate market expansion opportunities by determining which countries we sell in/to, and what channels and resources we make available

  • Partner with Sales and Product to develop our infrastructure/data center roadmap, plan capacity and manage performance.

  • Structure and perform regular sales capacity planning analysis across Snowflake's geographies and sales segments to inform ongoing sales hiring decisions and resource allocation to maximize growth potential

  • Partner with GTM leadership to formulate and communicate overall go-to-market strategy, across sales channels, geographies and segments

  • Drive visible strategic projects partnering with leaders within Snowflake; sales performance analysis and improvement, customer funnel conversion analysis, cost of customer acquisition, go-to-market strategy for new products, services, geographies or verticals

  • Demonstrate the ability to create a narrative and supporting analysis to influence decisions and outcomes, not just report on analytics

ON DAY ONE WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:
  • 2+ years of professional experience with a core focus in GTM strategy, planning and operations; consulting background and/or high growth enterprise software is highly preferred

  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving

  • Advanced data analysis/manipulation tools (SQL and Excel)

  • Experience with business modeling; operational, financial and statistical analysis

  • Experience with CRM and sales planning tools like Salesforce, Anaplan

  • Bachelor degree in business, statistics, economics or other quantitative disciplines

Every Snowflake employee is expected to follow the company's confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data. Snowflake is growing fast, and we're scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
