Must be 21+ years of age

Must have an active Texas Commissioned Security License (Level 3)

Must have a valid driver's license with 1+ years of driving experience

2+ years Law Enforcement or Military Experience in a Combat MOS or Associates Degree in Criminal Justice

As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Driver in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas while carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming atmosphere for all individuals onsite. You will be expected to deliver excellent customer service and clear communication in every interaction, upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. This dynamic role is ideal for those with a strong commitment to service who thrive in fast-paced environments.

What You'll Do:

    Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as outlined by Allied Universal, providing customer service to clients at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for armed patrol posts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter, including both indoor and outdoor areas, to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor for suspicious behavior and/or unauthorized access, reporting all incidents promptly to the appropriate authorities or supervisors.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, including coordinating with law enforcement personnel when required.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the location to help to deter potential disturbances and to reassure personnel and visitors.
  • Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner, in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications for armed patrol duties.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or an equivalent program.
  • Possess a college degree.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
  • Possess a law enforcement officer license and/or a corrections officer license.
  • Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
