Job Description




As a Security Professional - Hospital Entry Screener in Clairton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Officer in a healthcare environment, you will monitor hospital grounds and/or facilities, conducting regular patrols to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for staff, patients, and visitors. By remaining visible and approachable, you will provide exceptional customer service and communication while supporting the well-being of everyone at the location. What You'll Do:

    Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the healthcare location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism during high-stress events.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, incidents, and observations during patrols to assist with reporting and follow-up.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the healthcare location to help to deter suspicious behavior and support a secure setting.
  • Assist patients, staff, and visitors with directions and information, providing a helpful presence throughout the location.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and first responders during emergencies or incidents as directed by site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be fully vaccinated according to hospital policies, which may include additional immunizations specific to healthcare environments.
  • Must be able to work in environments that include hospital morgue areas.
  • Must be able to safely restrain individuals as required in a hospital setting.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
