About Us: A division within the Department of Emergency Medicine, the Center for Disaster Medicine (CDM) (https://www.massgeneral.org/disaster-medicine) houses numerous grant-funded programs that focus on Disaster Medicine, Healthcare Preparedness and Emergency Management, and High Consequence Infectious Diseases (HCID). The CDM team is comprised of interdisciplinary subject matter experts, including national and international experts in their fields, leading the development of preparedness programs and resources to meet current and future healthcare challenges. About You: You are an experienced project coordinator with a strong interest in emergency preparedness and/or HCIDs. You possess strong organizational skills, some project management skills, and a desire to be part of a high-functioning and fast-paced team that is a national leader in healthcare preparedness. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills. You're a quick study and willing to join a team growing through change. About the Work: Under the direction of the Assistant Director, Biothreats, the Program Coordinator will support all programmatic aspects of the RESPTC. This includes the development of training calendars, logistics for training activities, meeting coordination, internal newsletter, Biothreats Response Team administrative activities, managing the administrative aspects of RESPTC projects.
