ROLE SUMMARY

The Wealth Management Workflow team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and develop solutions for some of the largest wealth clients in the world! You'll become part of a team that builds secure and scalable solutions that focus on the needs of Wealth Advisors and their clients. You'll also be part of our cloud modernization, focusing on migration to Azure and modern dev-op. The role will provide opportunities in all aspects of software development by writing code, defining standards around CI/CD, improving automation, observability and supportability whilst making sure solutions are cost effective.

We're looking for creative minds with curiosity and the ability to work across multiple applications as needed. Our team is constantly improving our applications and we appreciate people who are passionate about satisfying clients needs and delivering on time.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Coding secure, efficient, and effective solutions

  • Developing front ends and related APIs

  • Development and delivery of software within a highly scalable, distributed, multi-tiered environment.
  • Building solutions using Microsoft Azure capabilities

  • Embracing DevOps principles to code, build and implement solutions

  • Ensuring that solutions conform to LSEG test strategy standards

  • Working with Product Owners to understand and refine requirements

  • Working to support squads to provide accurate estimations for delivery

  • Inspiring and mentoring more junior engineers

Qualifications & Skills
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in related field

  • Proficiency in the following technologies: UI libraries: HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, Node.js

  • Backend: ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, C#, .NET Framework

  • RESTful Web Services

  • CI/CD tools and environments: GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, Docker

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

  • Automated and unit test frameworks

  • Cloud platforms: Azure and terraform

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $110,600 - $184,400. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
