Location: Medical Center-ProsperDepartment: Patient and Family ExperienceShift: Varying Shifts (United States of America)Standard Weekly Hours: 20Summary: The Guest Relations Specialist will provide a welcoming presence and excellent customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff by providing information and giving personal attention to each guest. At Cook Children's every guest should feel like family. This position oftentimes provides the first impression of Cook Children's when patients and families are often scared, uncertain, and confused when they enter. Our Guest Relations Specialist helps ensure patients and families that they are in great hands and have come to the best place to care for their child. You will quickly establish a welcoming rapport and make a difference in families' day and healthcare journey. As part of the Patient/Family/Member Experience team, you will contribute towards our mission to give voice to what patients, families, and members see, advocate for how experiences affect well-being, provide support and emotional safety, and elevate people, processes, and technology. This position will also assist the Patient Experience Manager with the organization of parent events and patient programming. Hours: 20 hours per week.
