Wargaming Analyst, Junior

Key Role:

Serve as part of a Booz Allen team supporting the development of military capabilities. Execute operational level wargames for a range of participants from senior military leaders to action officer. Assist by applying expertise in warfighting disciplines and organizational processes or procedures to craft wargames that allow participants to test assumptions and train in a minimal-risk environment. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity and refer more complex issues to higher levels. Work under direct supervision and assist with scheduling and planning wargames and exercises, including securing locations, planning support requirements, developing scenarios and instructional materials, and developing analysis plans to accurately capture the results of the event.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with the US military

• Knowledge of military operations and organization

• Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment with aggressive project timelines and continual client delivery

• Ability to grasp new concepts and comprehend the impact of international and military affairs on future military requirements

• Ability to effectively interpret the intent of a client's needs and help shape and form the solution by leveraging team capabilities

• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience working with the Joint Staff or Combatant Commands

• Experience developing military exercises and wargames

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project

• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills for addressing senior military officers
