Position Overview:
Term: Full time, permanent
Location: Dallas, TX (75% travel)
Pay: $140,000 - $150,000; commensurate with experience
Hours: 8 am - 5 pm
The primary objective of the Infrastructure Program Director is to collaborate with the internal sector and the Field Site Remediation Program, ensuring that network details are successfully delivered throughout all project lifecycle stages, adhering to the latest engineering standards, and meeting deadlines and budget constraints. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, vendors, and suppliers to execute legacy CIO Application Technology Lifecycle Management hardware requirements.

  • Deliver quality Field IT Networking & Telecom solutions by using Engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, managed services providers, and vendors to ensure AOP projects are delivered timely, meeting Standards and within budget.
  • Manage & facilitate conversations with the ability to drive deep the discussions, driving clarity of issues/requirements to build robust solutions, with people of various levels, backgrounds, and personalities.
  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation for network-related initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Identify key stakeholders, establish clear communication channels, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Network Proficiency: Demonstrate a solid understanding of fundamental network concepts, including LANs, WANs, VPNs, and security protocols, applying this knowledge to project requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with project teams, ensuring team members are aligned with project goals and deliverables.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks and challenges related to network projects, proactively developing mitigation strategies.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that network solutions adhere to industry standards and best practices.
  • Apply and maintain ITIL practices for change management in the IT and Network environment.
  • Collaborate with IT and Network teams to identify, assess, and document change requests, ensuring they meet established requirements and standards.
  • Collaborate with technical support and incident management teams to ensure prompt issue resolution related to changes.
  • Provide guidance and training on ITIL best practices to team members and relevant departments.
  • You will be entrusted with overseeing the Delivery side during designated time windows, taking the lead to make network implementations possible. Your role will be pivotal in coordinating and facilitating network upgrades, ensuring their successful execution while minimizing disruption. Your expertise in ITIL best practices will be instrumental in driving these changes forward and maintaining the efficiency of our network infrastructure.
What you will bring to the team:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of demonstrated program management expertise in delivering end-to-end solutions for IT Infrastructure Network projects using ITIL methods.
  • PMP (Project Manager Professional) certification is desirable.
  • ITIL 4 certification is a required qualification for this role.
  • Strong understanding of basic network concepts, including LANs, WANs, VPNs, and security protocols.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is desirable.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional spoken and written English language skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
