Position Summary

FedData is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Leader to support sales and contract capture in the Aerospace Community. This role will be responsible for developing strategic customer relationships, growing accounts, and delivering tailored technology solutions that align with mission objectives. The candidate will focus on Aerospace installations and research centers across CONUS with a focus on modernization initiatives.



Essential Job Functions

* Develop and manage strategic relationships with Aerospace Customers, OEM Partners, System Integrators, and Technical Stakeholders

* Position IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, network, hybrid cloud, and HPC solutions

* Lead major contract pursuits in partnership with FedData Business Development, FedData Engineering Teams, and OEM Partners

* Lead responses to RFIs/RFQs and manage full sales lifecycle

* Collaborate with engineering, OEM, and procurement teams to deliver winning solutions

* Identify and lead capture of client modernization efforts.

* Conduct onsite visits and briefings at Government Facilities and System Integrator Sites.

* Attend associated trade shows and events to market FedData

* Pursue Contract Vehicles as a Prime and Subcontract/Supplier with System Integrators

* Close sales and provide forward reporting of sales pipeline to management

* Manage Team Members as new sales resources are selected for Aerospace Team



Minimum Required Qualifications

* Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access, U.S. Citizenship is required

* Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

* Must have 20+ years of experience in Aerospace Sales

* Must have 20+ years experience leading major Aerospace Contract Capture Efforts.

* Must have 20+ years experience working closely with Aerospace System integrators

Desired/Preferred Skills:

* 20+ years experience executing in person and remote sales calls.

* 20+ years experience closing sales and managing sales pipeline

* 20+ years experience building and maintaining client relationships

Pay Scale:

The salary for this position ranges from $120,000 - $135,000. The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).

Working Conditions:

This is a remote position with extensive travel required across the Continental United States. OCONUS and Foreign Travel may also be required.

Physical Requirements:

Extensive use of IT Systems required. May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. May require intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the work day.

Background Screening/Check/Investigation:

Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
