Rehabilitation LPN

We are seeking a Rehabilitation LPN, also referred to as a Rehabilitation Practical Nurse or Rehab Licensed Practical Nurse (Rehab LPN) in our Physical Rehabilitation Unit. The Rehab LPN will provide high-quality nursing care to our patients undergoing rehabilitation, assisting them in regaining their physical skills and improving their quality of life. The Rehab LPN will provide direct nursing care to patients in the rehabilitation unit, including medication administration, wound care, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities.

Bonus Options: Up to $7,500

Hours: 12-hour shifts - 7:00am to 7:00pm

Location: St. Joseph Medical Center - Kansas City, MO

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care in the rehab unit, including administering medications, performing wound care, and tracking vital signs
• Partner with other team members to create and execute personalized care plans that support recovery and patient independence
• Accurately document patient status, treatments, and progress in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Educate patients and families on the rehabilitation journey, treatment expectations, and strategies for successful care at home
• Work closely with other nurses and medical staff to ensure seamless, well-coordinated care throughout the patient's stay

• Current and valid state license
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
• IV certification upon hire (state specific)
