This position will contribute to the software development process by ensuring that our code can be deployed in an ever-evolving technical environment, particularly as we work across multiple cloud platforms. At present, this team works in a predominantly C#/.Net environment, but is moving toward adopting Go, and this individual will have the chance to learn this new language as our environment evolves. You will work as part of a technical team regularly collaborating with Software Developers, Product Owners, Quality Analysts, Operations Engineers, and other Business Analysts in a DevOps approach incorporating agile principles and practices.

This is a remote position and candidates must live within approximately a 70-mile radius of our office locations in Allen, TX; Lenexa, KS; Springfield, MO; or Monett, MO.

Must be able to travel up to 5% for occasional meeting, training, release, or conference.

The salary range for this position is $92,100- $136,350 and will be determined based on location and experience level.

All positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding requirement to verify your identity.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Complete product technical design and prototyping, software development, bug verification and resolution.
  • Perform system analysis and programming activities which may require extensive research and analysis.
  • Provide technical/engineering support for new and existing applications from code delivery until the retirement of the application.
  • Ensure timely, effective, and quality delivery of software into production, both at an individual and team level.
  • Develop and test applications based on business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Create required technical documentation.
  • Perform release validation testing and beta support for projects.
  • Research problems and develop solutions to the problems.
  • Conduct unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have:

  • Must have a minimum of 6 years of technical experience working with software development teams.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of containerization experience with either Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with either Azure or GCP.
  • Experience with APIs.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience developing with C#, .Net, and/or Go.
  • Microservices experience.
  • Experience with integration tools such as Vault and/or Artifactory.
  • Experience developing with SQL or NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with networking DNS and TLS.
  • Experience diagramming and architecting solutions.

If you got this far, we hope you're feeling excited about this opportunity. Even if you don't feel you meet every single requirement on this posting, we still encourage you to apply.
