*Job Summary*
As a Sr Researcher, you will lead strategic research initiatives that shape product direction and user experience. You will mentor junior researchers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure that user insights are embedded throughout the product lifecycle. This role requires expertise in research design, stakeholder engagement, and storytelling. You will influence product strategy by delivering compelling insights that drive innovation and improve user outcomes. *Key Responsibilities:* - Lead end-to-end research projects, from planning to synthesis and presentation. - Design and execute complex studies using mixed methods. - Mentor junior researchers and promote research best practices. - Collaborate with product, design, and analytics teams to align research with business goals. - Present findings to sr leadership and advocate for user-centered design. - Develop research frameworks, templates, and standards. - Stay informed on industry trends and emerging research methodologies. - Contribute to strategic planning and roadmap development. *Additional Skills & Qualifications Required:* - 5+ years of experience in UX or product research - Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods - Experience with research tools and platforms - Strong leadership and communication skills *Preferred:* -Bachelor's degree in a related field - Experience in healthcare or government sectors - Certified UX Researcher or similar certification - Experience with service design or systems thinking - Proven ability to influence product strategy through research - 1+ years of experience leveraging AI tools in the software development (or product) lifecycle in order to improve quality and efficiency. Preference for those with experience in enterprise environments but doesn't matter if they have a B2B or B2C experience. *Key Responsibilities:* *Research Program Execution: Support the design team by executing a fast turnaround research program. This includes recruiting users, conducting usability tests, and providing quick, lightweight reports. *Stakeholder Communication: Establish and maintain clear communication channels with cross-disciplinary partners. Ensure that research requests are well understood and that insights are shared openly and transparently. *Methodological Expertise: Conduct primarily qualitative research, with the ability to understand and integrate quantitative data. Experience with user testing platforms and lightweight usability testing is essential. *Impact Tracking: Set clear expectations around impact tracking, ensuring that the outcomes of research are well-documented and communicated. Provide feedback on UX changes, business changes, and research findings after each cycle. *Synthesis and Reporting: Synthesize insights from various data sources, including data science and product team inputs. Create impactful and useful reports that highlight key themes and findings. *Team Collaboration: Actively participate in team meetings and support the broader team. Demonstrate strong storytelling skills to convey research findings effectively. *Skills* Qualitative research, Usability testing, quantitative research *Additional Skills & Qualifications* *Experience: Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in UX research, preferably in an enterprise environment. *Skills: Strong qualitative research skills, with the ability to integrate quantitative data. Proficiency in user testing platforms and lightweight usability testing. *Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to proactively engage with partners and ensure that research is visible and impactful. *Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, or a related discipline). *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
