*Overview:*
This hands-on, customer-facing role involves providing on-site technical support for a variety of PC and printer hardware. The technician will handle break/fix services for laptops, desktops, workstations, and retail point-of-sale systems. Experience with printers is highly valued. The position is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and enjoys solving problems independently. *Responsibilities:* * Deliver on-site hardware support including installation, configuration, repairs, and troubleshooting of PC and printer equipment. * Guide customers through technology usage and maintenance best practices. * Respond to service requests and collaborate with escalation teams to resolve complex technical issues. * Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction while supporting business goals and budget requirements. * Understand the business impact of service delivery and make informed decisions accordingly. *Key Skills & Competencies:* * Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and alignment equipment. * Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware issues, including those involving third-party software, networking components, and switches. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer interaction. * Capable of managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment. * Independent problem-solving and decision-making within established procedures. * Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility for administrative tasks. * Business awareness and ability to assess the financial implications of service actions. * Familiarity with industry technologies and ability to recommend practical solutions. * Quick assessment of technical situations and adaptability to operational challenges. *Preferred Experience:* * Prior experience in field service or technical support roles. * Strong experience in printer maintenance and repair. * Proven ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with team goals. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
