- Spokane, WA
- Travel required: approximately 25%
- Pay scale : $101,000 to $124,000 depending on experience, 20% annual bonus opportunity
- $550 per month car allowance plus mileage at $0.233 per mile

  • Monthly auto allowance of $550 per month plus mileage at $0.233 per mile

As District Manager, you will be responsible for leading, directing and motivating Branch, Administrative, Operating, and Sales associates within the district to achieve the highest safety standards, top line growth, EBITDA performance and operational excellence. The DM is responsible to execute on plans and strategies designed to meet and exceed customer needs. You will have full P&L responsibility for your territory.

  • Lead, direct, and motivate all Branch, Administrative, Operating, and Sales associates to achieve the highest safety standards, top line growth, EBITDA performance, and operational excellence.
  • Manage the Salesforce for organic top line growth, including potential direct responsibility for key customer accounts.
  • Achieve full P&L responsibility for the assigned branches/territory.
  • Optimize profit margins by executing regional/area plans and strategies, and maintaining operating expenses in line with Gross Profit goals and growth plans.
  • Manage branch assets, execute Core Strategy I and II activities, and ensure branch planners are in place.
  • Ensure branch and field sales associates are adequately trained, focusing on increased accuracy and SAP proficiency.
  • Ensure effective collaboration, teamwork, and communication throughout the District.
  • All employees are expected to perform any reasonable work request that falls within the qualifications but not specifically described.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Sales Management, Engineering, or related field, or 3-5 years of sales/ sales management experience in a business to business sales environment, a Branch or Plant leadership role, or similar experience in the distribution industry.
  • Computer Skills: Must have proficient computer skills using Google systems and CRM systems (specifically Salesforce preferred).
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and appropriate level of auto insurance coverage.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • This position will have frequent day travel and occassional overnight travel to Airgas locations and customer sites while being exposed to different inside and outside work environments.
  • Self-Management and Analytical Skills: Highly organized, analytical, and self-motivated self-starter who operates with urgency, can work independently, and possesses the ability to solve complex, practical problems in non-standardized situations.
