We are seeking a hands-on Production Foreman to lead our Cable Fabrication team and support operations at our new Colorado facility. This position plays a critical role in ensuring we Deploy Faster, Operate with Confidence, and Design with Purpose across all production activities. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining uncompromising standards of quality and precision in support of mission-critical defense programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of Cable Fabrication Technicians, providing daily direction, training, and performance feedback.
- Plan and prioritize production schedules based on project requirements, resource availability, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure cable assemblies, harnesses, and related products are manufactured to engineering specifications, quality standards, and defense industry requirements (AS9100, IPC/WHMA-A-620, etc.).
- Monitor productivity, labor hours, and material usage to meet cost and schedule objectives.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and program management to support new product introductions, process improvements, and problem resolution.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with OSHA, company policies, and facility procedures.
- Assist with setup and optimization of production areas, equipment, and workflow in the new Colorado facility.
- Support facility-wide operations as needed, including inventory control, equipment maintenance, and cross-functional teamwork.
- Ensure accurate reporting of timekeeping, job travelers, and production data in Deltek Costpoint.
- Maintain safety and quality compliance, following all company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs and oversee tool control and FOD prevention initiatives.
- Adapt to additional duties as required, recognizing that responsibilities may change with or without notice.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma is required.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production, preferably in cable assembly or harness fabrication.
- 3+ years' experience in a role leading a production team.
- Strong understanding of cable fabrication standards, drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Experience working in a defense or aerospace manufacturing environment highly preferred.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification or similar is a plus.

- Proficient with ERP systems and production reporting tools.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and team leadership skills.
- Strong willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Familiarity with regulatory and safety standards (e.g., OSHA, IPC standards).
- Adaptable to changing priorities and capable of handling additional duties as needed.
- May be required to obtain a Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance depending on contract needs.
