Job Posting Title: SharePoint Administrator

Job Description: Paragon Technology Group is seeking an experienced SharePoint Administrator to work with a dynamic SharePoint Collaboration Team for 100% on-site work at Naval Station Norfolk. This position requires an experienced and highly organized SharePoint administrator to manage classified and unclassified Department of Defense SharePoint environments for the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command (JECC).

The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, managing, and when necessary, migrating SharePoint platforms across Department of Defense NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS domains. This role requires strong, professional communication and documentation skills , with the ability to provide Site Administration, staff support, and host briefings for all levels of staff, including senior military and C-Suite level leadership.

A customer-friendly and team-oriented work approach is essential. This individual serves as the primary onsite technical Tiers 1 and 2 support and trainer for SharePoint Online operations. The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter, capable of constructively applying strong technical SharePoint knowledge to support the JECC's user community and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive innovation for the command's SharePoint portal and sites by identifying and implementing new features and process improvements.
  • Host and facilitate technical briefings, capability demonstrations, and planning meetings for senior military and C-Suite level leadership.
  • Design, organize, and conduct formal training workshops and events to increase user proficiency and adoption of SharePoint and Power Platform tools.
  • Leverage strong documentation skills to create and maintain clear, concise SharePoint user guides, "how-to" articles, FAQs, and technical papers.
  • Demonstrate excellent task management skills by effectively tracking all work, notes, and customer interactions within the internal ticketing system.
  • Must possess demonstrated working experience with Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate and SharePoint forms for tasks.
  • Controlling access to sites, document libraries, and setting permissions across HUB and spoke SharePoint sites.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint issues or malfunctions.
  • Ensuring sufficient storage space by performing clean-ups and archiving data.
  • Provide SharePoint support to customers on Out-of-the-box features for Modern SharePoint Online sites, pages, document libraries, and lists.
  • Provide content management training to users on how they can use Out-of-the-box features and update their content.
  • Manage creation, modification, and deletion of SharePoint Online sites and their respective connection to HUB site(s).

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a SharePoint Online Administrator.
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems (O365) suite.
  • Superb collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong customer service skills with experience in providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support.
  • Active Secret Clearance required

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of working in DoD environment
  • Knowledge of database structure and how two or more pieces of data relate to each other.
  • JSON Formatting experience
  • Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
