Patient Service Specialist (PSS) - Part-Time (Day Shift)
Location: MaineHealth Sleep Medicine, Congress Street, Portland, ME
Schedule: 20 hours/week | Flexible scheduling between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Fully onsite

MaineHealth Sleep Medicine - Portland is seeking a Patient Service Specialist (PSS) to join our growing, patient-centered team. This is a part-time, onsite position offering flexible daytime hours and the opportunity to work in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Position Highlights:

• Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Schedule: 20 hours/week with flexible scheduling options
• Work Setting: Fully onsite at our Congress Street location

What You'll Do:

• Process incoming patient referrals
• Obtain prior authorizations
• Provide check-in and check-out coverage as needed
• Support patient scheduling and ensure a smooth front-desk experience
• Assist with general administrative duties that support our clinical team

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
2. License/Certifications: N/A
3. Experience: Six months of medical office experience required.
4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient computer skills.
