Regional Director, Sales-Builder Channel

That is why we are currently seeking the newest leader to join our world-class sales team as Regional Director, Sales located in the Upper Midwest Region. This role is remote.

Position Summary:

We are building a world-class builder sales organization to achieve hyper-growth with industry leading back-office sales support and innovative logistics delivering exceptional sales productivity and trade customer satisfaction!

As the Regional Director, Sales-Builder Channel, you will join us in our pursuit of exponentially expanding our market share in the home building industry. By joining an internally recognized brand, you will lead the sale of LG's products or services through the distribution/hybrid retail sales channel on a regional or geographic basis. You will also support the sales of LG products on a direct basis to select National Builders. As a Region Director, you will utilize your leadership skills to coach and lead other Zone Managers and Builder Sales Managers who have specific Distributors and/or Builder customers and targets.

What you will do:



  • Support and help develop the sales strategies and tactics to execute business plans and grow customer business in the respective Region geography.
  • Focus on relationship development with all customers in the region.
  • Aid in presenting each business proposal, negotiate pricing and secure customer orders in line with account business plans.
  • Serve as primary LG contact with customers in the Region.
  • Provide accurate volume forecasting to ensure adequate order fulfillment.
  • Provide exceptional customer relationships by educating customers on LG products, monitoring and reviewing customer performance for sales optimization, ensuring two-way communication, and managing operational excellence.
  • Ensure all sales reporting and metrics are completed and submitted on time.
  • Manage and mentor a team of employees, including hiring, training, coaching, goal setting, performance management and development.
  • Be available to travel throughout the Region 40% of the time.
  • Be available to support and travel to National Builder Trade shows and to Corporate in NJ.
  • What you will bring:


  • 12+ years of sales success in related products/ accounts/customers with a proven track record of results and 5+ years sales management experience
  • Both Appliance industry and Builder industry experience required.
  • Breakthrough sales leadership and performance focused on optimism, encouragement, speed, engagement, and trust.
  • Ability to utilize strong relationship building skills, outstanding communications skills, and solid business and industry acumen to drive results
  • Ability to apply thought leadership in Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance and Account P&L
  • GED is required but Bachelor's degree preferred, MBA desirable

Recruiting Range
$160,000 - $230,000 USD
