SEI is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our organization as the Sr. Director of Procurement.

The Sr. Director of Procurement will work to assist in managing a team from that will deliver focused Procurement Organization Capabilities, Best Practices, Process Improvements and E-Procurement Technology solutions in the company while ensuring flawless execution and ensuring full stakeholder alignment. This position is a key role and directly enables the enterprise to grow its capability to maximize value creation, manage external costs, rationalize third party labor, data acquisitions, and overall leveraging of external suppliers and partnerships. This role will report directly to the Head of Centralized Procurement and be part of the Procurement Leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a Detailed Procurement Strategy: Execute a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with organizational goals, financial targets, and budgetary requirements.
  • Supplier Management: Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts, commercial terms and pricing models to achieve optimal procurement outcomes.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve procurement processes, policies and procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and streamline operations. Deliver flawless execution of procurement initiatives, strategies and projects. Drive new ways of working across the enterprise and champion material shifts in procurement methodologies and processes.
  • E-Procurement: Drive the adoption and execution of the newly deployed Oracle e-procurement systems and tools. Ensure alignment across the full source to pay ecosystem.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and coach, a team of procurement professionals providing guidance, training and support to foster a high performing and collaborative work environment.
  • Risk Management: Identify supplier potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of supply and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with stakeholders across departments to align procurement activities with overall business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience in a senior procurement role with a strong track record in strategic procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation, and project management.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience in building and motivating a procurement team
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of complex project execution and delivery. RPA or AI is a plus.
  • High acumen for e-procurement system, tools, and processes. Oracle experience is a plus.
  • Extensive experience is cost modeling, financial evaluation, and data analytics.
