Tyler Union, a division of McWane, Inc., is the nation's leading manufacturer of Ductile Iron Waterworks Fittings and Appurtenances has an immediate opening for an Assistant Maintenance Manager.Tyler Union's main manufacturing facility is located in Anniston, AL. This position will support and assists the Plant Engineering & Maintenance Manager in leading a diverse team of electrical and mechanical maintenance team members in overseeing maintenance procedures, preventive and corrective maintenance programs to upkeep and maintain machinery and equipment. Assume ownership of all department responsibilities and commit to accountability for meeting all objectives-aid in driving a maintenance culture of exceeding customers' expectations. Supervisory Responsibilities Assists the maintenance manager in the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the maintenance department to directly manage subordinate supervisors, technicians, team leads, and team members. Carries out supervisory responsibilities by the organization's policies and applicable laws.
