IT Specialist

Dexian, LLC seeks 2 IT Specialists in McLean, VA to:

Design, build, and engineer Cloud Architecture with global services team; implement solution architectures and concepts and follow best practices and processes as appropriate to support the entire infrastructure lifecycle. Design and implement new solutions or rearchitect existing solutions for public, private and hybrid Cloud infrastructures and services based on Microsoft and other major vendor server technologies. Prepare technical quality of infrastructure delivery enter/exit gates for design, integration testing, deployment, and operations. Design and deploy support systems and support Infrastructure design, assessments and application analysis, capacity planning and data center migrations. Drive continuous improvement including design, service strategy, and standardization of process and methodologies working with other service providers.

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Sciences, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field and 2 years of experience in an IT Infrastructure and Data Center Services occupation. The experience in IT Infrastructure and Data Center Services occupation must include the following:

• 2 years of experience in cloud and virtualization technologies, systems, storage and data center technologies, enterprise technologies, Data Centers, Cloud Computing and public, private and hybrid Cloud infrastructure projects.
• 2 years of experience in high-performance systems such as large-scale installations and related issues, clustering, resolving customer challenges, using Microsoft and Linux systems, layer 3 networking, and server/storage management and using IT consolidation principles
• 2years of experience working with stakeholders and global virtual teams in the plastics and chemical industry
• 2 years of experience in VMware Solution Design, Azure Cloud Solution design, Server and Storage.
• Must have the following certifications:
• VMware Certified Advanced Professional - Data Center Design
• VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization
• Microsoft Certified: On Azure

Travel and work in various unanticipated work locations in the US, to be determined by employer. Part-time telecommuting is permitted.
