Evolver Federal is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to provide technical support services focused on developing, managing, and enhancing business intelligence, data analytics, and reporting capabilities. The role involves collecting, transforming, and visualizing operational and cybersecurity data to support compliance tracking, performance measurement, and executive-level decision-making. The developer will leverage Microsoft Power BI and the Power Platform to design scalable, automated, and user-friendly reporting solutions that enable data-driven insights across hybrid (on-premises and cloud) environments. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to support analytics, performance monitoring, and compliance initiatives.
- Build and optimize data models, relationships, and calculations using Power BI Desktop, DAX, and Power Query (M language).
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to integrate information from multiple systems and ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Automate data refreshes, validations, and report generation to ensure timeliness and consistency of insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and deliver actionable reporting products.
- Create reusable templates, visuals, and metrics libraries for standardized enterprise reporting.
- Perform ad hoc data analysis to support management reporting, compliance reviews, and operational assessments.
- Support limited FISMA-related reporting by visualizing cybersecurity metrics, compliance trends, and risk indicators as needed.
- Document data models, report logic, and business rules to support sustainability and knowledge transfer.
- Develop and deploy applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to improve workflow automation and operational efficiency.
- Integrate Power BI dashboards with Power Apps and other enterprise systems to enhance usability and accessibility.
- Implement and configure Microsoft Dataverse and connectors to streamline data access and sharing.
- Maintain and support existing Power Platform applications, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
- Document application design specifications and provide user training or support as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Government.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related discipline and 8 years of related experience
- 5 years of experience developing Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
- 5 years of experience with DAX, Power Query (M language), and SQL.
- 5 years of experience in data integration, ETL, and automation using Power Platform or other tools.
- 3 years of experience Microsoft Dataverse, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- 5 years of experience with data governance, data quality, and reporting best practices.
- 3 years of client-engagement experience.
- Must have an Active Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience supporting compliance or cybersecurity reporting (e.g., FISMA, RMF)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively via written and verbal communication in both formal and informal situations.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical POCs.
- Ability to adapt to frequent changes in priorities, follow project schedules, meet established deadlines, and proactively communicate risks and issues to the Contractor PM and/or Federal Leads.
- Possess good listening skills and the ability to detect explicit and implicit needs and wants of the client. Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment, prioritize multiple tasks, and problem solve under pressure of deadlines and resource constraints
- Possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to apply them to the client/ contract workspace.

- MS Power Platform certification(s), and/or MS Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification preferred, not required.
