Summary
Supervises staff engaged in various finance functions such as internal audit and control, budgeting, data analysis/reporting, and financial forecasting. Develops, modifies, and reviews financial reporting systems, reporting methods, and controls. Oversees the planning and control of financial analysis activities to ensure uniform reporting and analysis and the development and implementation of effective cost tracking and reporting systems. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions -Executes the financial plans provided by senior finance leaders in accordance with the organizations goals and objectives. -Designs, develops and implements budgeting and forecasting tools to support and provide direction to leaders. -Oversees the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, summary analyses and ad-hoc reporting request summaries. -Produces and presents periodic reports to leaders for decision making. -Hires, trains, evaluates and develops a team of financial support and analyst roles. -Collaborate with department leaders to ensure the effective utilization of resources for the achievement of budget goals. -Perform periodic audits in accordance with internal and external requirements. -Make recommendations to management regarding cost savings, profit generating opportunities and business improvement strategies.
