Leads the effort to provide risk mitigation efficiently and effectively, provide security oversight and asset (People, Assets, & Brand) protection within multiple cross operating FedEx locations. Serves as a leader within the Security department as well as internal and external business partners. Responsible for the security matters including but not limited to physical security, investigations (WPVP, Loss, Fraud), asset protection, and customer product protection for multiple FedEx facilities.

Essential Functions

  • Leads security efforts, providing oversight, and asset protection across multiple FedEx locations.
  • Tracks and reports on key Security network goals and metrics. Effectively addresses product loss mitigation, physical security considerations, and potential workplace violence incidents by means of investigations and conducting interviews when appropriate.
  • Serves as department's liaison to engage, coach, and train business partners on security matters as the security subject matter expert.
  • Uses Quality Driven Management tools/process to challenge current practices to develop and deliver innovative solutions to meet or exceed the customer expectations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree/equivalent.

Minimum Experience

at least three years of experience as a FedEx Security Specialist.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Excellent communication and writing skills, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of Microsoft-based computer programs.
