Job Description:

Our Associate Revenue Management Program is a pathway for recent college graduates and individuals who are early in their careers to begin their professional growth journey. Through this program, we aim to help you develop lasting relationships while creating a meaningful career through on-the-job mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities. Selected Candidates will be placed either in the Pricing or Revenue Management Team. This program will have cohort start dates in February, May, and August 2026. The Associate Revenue Management & Pricing Analyst invests in the future of Southwest's People by maximizing Passenger revenue in their assigned markets. This role works collaboratively with Teams throughout Revenue Management in order to understand markets and implement price points and competitive fare moves in these spaces. This Associate Analyst is responsible for markets of up to $500M annually, which includes working within top commercial priorities and expeditious fare changes in tight deadlines. The Associate Revenue Management & Pricing Analyst is passionate about continuous learning and sharing knowledge, and they're excited to contribute to the innovative, high-performing, and highly visible Revenue Management Department. They'll have the opportunity to learn and grow in their expertise each day and pilot the future of Southwest Airlines.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze market performance and forecast to identify revenue opportunities
  • Maintain and adjust market pricing and inventory position to improve revenue
  • Analyze forward-looking demand trends in assigned markets and cities
  • Deliver well-written post-analysis on assigned markets as requested by leaders
  • Identify outliers in forecasting system and make appropriate actions
  • Collaborate with team in managing holidays and special events; conduct and present analysis on revenue performance within market scope
  • Maintain analysis utilizing Excel functions including, but not limited to: pivot tables, formulas, lookups
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to maximize revenue
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to solve complex analytical problems
  • Ability to interpret data, draw implications and modify approach as needed
  • Skilled at taking both the big picture and details into account and making the right decision
  • Skilled in synthesizing action plans and communicating to others
  • Ability to prioritize own work
  • Ability to make decisions in an ambiguous environment and actively make trade-offs considering the highest revenue opportunity or greatest sense of urgency
  • Ability to maintain composure, work quality, and other skills during stressful situations
Education
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: Completed degree by the start of the program with an Aviation, Analytics, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Math, Statistics, Supply Chain, Marketing or Business-related field OR similar degree
Experience
  • Entry level experience, developing skills and knowledge in:
    • Analytics
    • Quantitative analysis
  • Preferred: Experience with SQL or Alteryx
  • Preferred: Airline, Revenue Management, or Hospitality experience
  • Preferred: Experience with a Revenue Management project
Licensing/Certification
  • N/A
Physical Abilities
  • Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines

Pay & Benefits:

  • Competitive market salary from $61,850 per year to $68,700 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
