UCI Human Resources (HR) serves the UCI enterprise in three distinct business units: Health (Academic Hospitals and Community Network), College of Health Sciences, and Main Campus. Your Role on the Team

The Senior HR Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) at UCI Health - Placentia Linda provides strategic advisement and consultation to assigned clients, leveraging and integrating knowledge of modern professional HR practice, the regulatory environment, and labor and employment law. The Sr. HRBP is the first point of contact for the client, working to identify and establish HR solutions with clients while appropriately utilizing the resources of subject matter experts within the department.

Recognized functional expert who regularly leads human resources projects of critical importance to the organization. The Sr. HRBP utilizes comprehensive and in-depth human resources expertise to provide guidance and recommendations regarding strategic direction to the organization and its leaders. Works on human resources matters that are the most diverse and complex in scope where analysis of data and situations requires evaluation of many factors and implications with broad impact on the organization. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and functions as a lead with other human resources professionals. Is considered a subject matter expert in the organization. Performs tactical and administrative functions as necessary.

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $119,400 - $189,025 (Annual).

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training

Preferred:

  • Strategic HR Business Partner (sHRBP), SHRM-CP or SHRM-SC, PHR or SPHR Certification.

Special Conditions:

  • This position may be required to report at different work sites between the campus in Irvine and multiple UCI Health locations. The incumbent must be able to provide their own means of transportation to/from work locations.
