Responsibilities and Expectations:

IPS is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to spearhead market expansion and lead a high-performing sales team within the specified region. This role requires a proven leader who can effectively drive sales growth by applying principles of Servant Leadership and leveraging Continuous Improvement Process Solution (CIPS) tools.

The Regional Sales Manager will be directly responsible for establishing and achieving ambitious sales objectives across the assigned region.

Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Establish and execute a robust regional sales strategy to meet or exceed sales targets and increase market share growth.
  • Cultivate and maintain productive, professional relationships with key personnel within National Market Accounts.
  • Conduct joint sales calls with IPS Account Managers to mentor staff and accelerate business growth opportunities.
  • Provide critical market intelligence, including current trends, effective sales techniques, and strategic product application, to ensure regional success.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Proactively coach, train, and develop local sales representatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Coordinate the involvement of cross-functional company personnel (including support, service, and management resources) to ensure exceptional account performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Champion and lead the utilization of CRM activity across the market, ensuring data accuracy and strategic use for pipeline management.

Collaboration and Innovation

  • Collaborate strategically with the Marketing Department to develop compelling marketing collateral that supports solution-based selling initiatives.
  • Utilize CIPS methodologies to continuously refine sales processes, improve efficiency, and enhance customer experience within the region.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of motor service sales experience preferred
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive sales experience, including at least 3 years in a regional sales leadership/management role.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding multi-million-dollar sales quotas and driving significant market share growth.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and coaching a remote or multi-location sales team.
