What You'll Do

As a senior member of our Public Safety team, you will:




  • Oversee daily security operations and lead a team of dedicated public safety officers.



  • Develop and implement security policies, emergency preparedness plans, and risk mitigation strategies.



  • Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services during critical incidents.



  • Conduct training in areas such as de-escalation, emergency response, and workplace safety.



  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and continuously enhance security technologies and systems.





What You Bring


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Public Safety, Emergency Management, or a related field (advanced certifications a plus).



  • Experience: 10+ years in security management - healthcare experience preferred.



  • Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities; calm under pressure; adept with modern security systems.



  • Certifications:




    • Valid driver's license (with no more than 5 points).



    • IAHSS Supervisor Level Certification (required).



    • State or regional security licenses as applicable (Maryland, DC, or Florida).



    • CPR, Stop the Bleed, Narcan, and de-escalation certifications (or ability to obtain).







Preferred Qualifications


  • Military, law enforcement, or healthcare security experience.



  • Proven ability to lead large teams and manage emergency response operations.

Salary Range: Minimum 37.87/hour - Maximum 66.28/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
