| Description Consumer Insights Associate, Full Time, Easton PA GENERAL SUMMARY: Under the general direction of a Consumer Insights Manager, the CI Associate is accountable and responsible for developing, gathering, analyzing, synthesizing and communicating strategic consumer insights from primary research studies to inform marketing and sales strategies across the organization. Insights guide product development and iteration, packaging graphics/communication, advertising, seasonal opportunities, POG placement/organization, competitive positioning, and more. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  
 Partners with marketing and other cross functional team members, providing insightful learning from consumer research to guide decisionsConducts primary research with a variety of global audiences, including parents, kids, teachers, principals, and general consumersHandles simpler and templated research studies independently; partners with manager on more complex studies to gain experience with new research methods and data analysis techniquesDevelops survey instruments to meet business/client objectives, including question wording, question type, and survey flow/orderPrograms surveys, including skip logic, display logic, quotas, randomization, flow, and implementing translations as neededDevelops analysis plan and analyzes quantitative data sets for insights and implications- testing for statistical significance, developing and analyzing crosstabs to assess differences by segments/subgroupsManages fielding of quant surveys, including communicating with panel vendor and developing/implementing solutions to any issues that occurModerates focus groups, in-depth interviews, shop-a-longs, and other qualitative studies, and summarizes findings & implicationsMaintains Advisory Panel database and manages recruiting for qualitative studiesLearns the Crayola business and keeps current with trends and news related to competition, consumers, education, government and their impact on Crayola
 JOB SPECIFICATIONS: 
  
 Bachelor's degree required. MBA/Master's Degree preferredAt least 2 years' experience in marketing research/consumer insightsExcellent organizational and analytical skillsAbility to communicate internally and externallyExcellent oral and written presentation skillsPC knowledge (Word, Excel, Power Point)Proficient in programming surveys using tools like QualtricsSome experience using AI tools to mine unstructured data (e.g., survey open ended responses) preferredSome experience moderating focus groups/interviews preferredAble to work independently and with teamsAbility to travelAbility to work some evenings is required
