This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.

Responsibilities:

  • Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
  • Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
  • Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack
  • Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
  • Automates manual release activities
  • Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate is an expert Developer using the MuleSoft Anypoint platform, well versed in all aspects of the product, with previous design and development experience on the Enterprise Patch Automation Service (EPAS) platform. Candidate should have a strong understanding of data management concepts, meta data driven code design, and expert at complex automation orchestration. Candidate needs to be able to understand macro level requirements and convert them into actionable tasks to deliver a technically sound product. Candidate should be able to work in teams in a collaborative manner, and be able to mentor junior developers to enhance their knowledge and skills on the platform.

Required Qualifications :

  • 10+ years of total IT experience
  • 8+ years of experience in middleware integration
  • 6+ years of experience designing and deploying integration services solutions using MuleSoft
  • Advanced knowledge of SOA Design patterns for building middleware systems from the ground up using Message Routing, Content Enrichment, Message Filtering, Message Transformation, Guaranteed delivery, Message sequencing, Batch message processing, error handling and reconciliation mechanisms
  • Experienced in engineering/upgrading complex solutions in line with demanding client requirements
  • Expert REST API development and interfacing skills?
  • Experienced in J2EE, Java Servlets, JMS, EJB, Design Patterns, Web services and building integration projects
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills; candidate must be able to concisely communicate complex technical topics
  • Proficient in the Agile, Scrum, and iterative SDLC practices
  • Ability to lead complex design and development efforts, mentoring junior resources to contribute effort to an overarching design, toward a cohesive goal

Desired Qualifications :

  • Fundamental knowledge of IT Service Management/ITIL processes and tools, specifically focusing on Change Management and Incident Management
  • Appreciation for clean and well documented code
  • Use of source control products and methodologies
  • Proficient with JIRA
  • Experienced with deployment tools and CI/CD
