Aquent has an exciting opportunity for a Creative and Healing Arts Program Coordinator in Palo Alto, CA! Please note the following before applying:
- This is a part-time position. The expected hours are 20 hours/week.
- This is an on-site position. It's expected that you can work on site 3 days/week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
In addition, to be considered for this role, you must:
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment.
- Be able to work on a W-2 basis. 1099 or C2C is not permitted for this position.
- Be able to comfortably commute to our client's location as required.

This role sits at the intersection of art and healing, allowing you to witness the transformative power of music firsthand. You will be instrumental in fostering a calm and supportive atmosphere, enhancing the patient experience, and contributing to a positive healing environment. Your efforts will directly impact the wellbeing of patients and create memorable experiences for everyone involved. Orchestrate Harmony Between Patients and Music:
- Coordinate and facilitate live music concerts, ensuring seamless execution and patient engagement.
- Act as the central point of contact for patients, musicians, and clinicians, confirming concert requests and managing pre-performance arrangements.
- Manage the logistical aspects of concerts, including equipment setup and breakdown.
- Champion the Creative & Healing Arts programs, promoting them to clinical staff across various departments.
- Collect and analyze patient and visitor feedback to continuously improve the program's effectiveness.
- Oversee project schedules, documentation, and resource allocation.
- Streamline administrative processes and paperwork within the program.
- Manage equipment inventory, conduct periodic reviews, and prepare cost management reports.
- Plan and execute departmental events and activities.
- Coordinate support requests from related departments.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- 2-5 years of experience in a client-facing role within a complex environment preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A passion for the arts and music.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- In-depth understanding of hospital operations and health promotion principles.
- Knowledge of music therapy practices.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $31.32 to $34.80 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. About Aquent Talent:
