Job Title: Lead Staff Enterprise Engineer

Location: 10770 NE 8th Street, Suite 700, Bellevue, WA 98004

*Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from The Trade Desk, Inc. office in Bellevue, WA.

Job Duties: Architect, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions (Apex, LWC/Aura, Flows) aligned to business requirements. Lead design and implementation of integrations between Salesforce and external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware). Build and manage data pipelines, including large-scale migrations and real-time transformations. Conduct code reviews, unit/integration testing, and performance tuning to uphold system reliability and efficiency. Customize the Salesforce UI using Lightning Components and best-practice UX patterns. Enforce security and data-access models (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules) to ensure compliance. Drive CI/CD processes (Git, SFDX, Gearset/Jenkins) and manage deployments across environments. Mentor and provide technical leadership to engineers, including defining standards, guiding design decisions, and fostering skills growth.

Salary: $212,202 - $227,200/year

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or related role. Must have seven (7) years of experience with Salesforce Apex coding. Must have five (5) years of experience with: triggers, batch/queueable/future patterns, and governor-limit optimizations; and end-to-end solution design and coding standards. Must have four (4) years of experience with: building Lightning Web Components in Salesforce; REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and iPaas tools; and building high-performance and reusable components in Lightning. Must have three (3) years of experience with Salesforce API integrations. Must have two (2) years of experience with large-scale ETL, data cleansing, and schema/design for cross-system sync. Must have one (1) years of experience mentoring junior Salesforce Engineers.

The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
