Sr. ServiceNow Developer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Sr. ServiceNow Developer for a 5+ month contract role with our client in Eagan, MN. This role is 100% remote.

Job Requirement:

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing and implementing ServiceNow solutions that meet business needs. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, the ability to work with cross-functional teams, and a deep understanding of ServiceNow best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and modules, including Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, and custom applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather and document requirements for new features and enhancements.
• Customize ServiceNow applications using scripting, workflows, and UI policies to meet specific business needs.
• Develop integrations between ServiceNow and other systems using REST/SOAP APIs, scripts, and middleware.
• Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet the quality standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow solutions, including design specs, workflows, and data models.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues within the ServiceNow platform.
• Stay current with ServiceNow updates, new features, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with Hardware Asset Management experience.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow development including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs, Import Sets, Transform Maps, and Web Services.
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, and other relevant methods.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies related to ServiceNow development.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow upgrade process and the ability to handle post-upgrade issues.
• Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), or other ServiceNow modules.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines within ServiceNow.
• Previous experience working in a consulting or contract-based environment.

Compensation:

Hourly W2 pay: $70.00 to $80.00/hour

We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
