GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
The Compliance Specialist for the Center for Law, Brain & Behavior (CLBB) within the Department of Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) supports legal, regulatory, and ethical compliance across CLBB's operational, research, and diversion program activities. The Compliance Specialist plays a key role in ensuring adherence to institutional policies, ethical standards, data protection requirements, and partner agreements, particularly in the context of CLBB's criminal justice and neuroscience initiatives, including the Young Adult Diversion Program (YADP). This role involves regulatory oversight, contract and policy review, stakeholder training, and proactive risk identification. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Regulatory and Legal Compliance:

SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Juris Doctor (JD) preferred or advanced degree in law, public policy, or compliance-related field. EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree required. JD or Master's degree in a related discipline highly desirable. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years of experience in compliance, legal services, public policy, or related field.
