Summary:
Responsible for specializing in the implantation and management of pacemakers. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions: -Prepare patients for pacemaker implantation by explaining the procedure and answering any questions they may have. -Assist the physician during the pacemaker implantation procedure. -Program the pacemaker and adjusting its settings as needed. -Monitor patients after pacemaker implantation to ensure that the device is functioning properly and that the patient is not experiencing any complications. -Educate patients on the proper care and maintenance of their pacemakers. -Troubleshoot and repair pacemakers as needed. -Maintain accurate and detailed records of each patient's pacemaker implantation and management.
