The Position

The OpportunityGenentech's Cell Banking organization is seeking a highly motivated cell culture Technical Development Scientist I to support various aspects of R&D and GMP Cell Bank production. The Cell Banking group is responsible for generating cell banks in support of both clinical and commercial drug substance manufacturing. In addition, the Cell Banking group is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving the Cell Banking processes in both the R&D and GMP environment. The work also includes providing scientific and technical judgment as part of a team responsible for delivering high quality biopharmaceutical products to patients. Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is $84,600 - 157,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
