The Internal Audit Intern will work closely with the Internal Audit team to assist in conducting audits, evaluating internal controls, and identifying areas for improvement. This role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic corporate environment and provides the opportunity to learn about internal audit processes and methodologies.

What you can expect to do in this role:

• Assist in conducting audit procedures in accordance with established standards and procedures.
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Document audit workpapers and findings in accordance with departmental standards.
• Assist in the preparation of audit reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and best practices.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.
• Develop and maintain a value-added business partner relationship with key stakeholders.
• Support the internal audit team by analyzing data to identify trends and develop insights for reporting.

What we are looking for:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
• Experience or coursework in data analytics.
• Previous internship experience in internal audit or a related field is a plus.
