POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring that the organizations has timely and accurately information in an appropriate format. Key success factors will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, customer support functions, executive leaders and subject matter experts to establish deliverables in the form of datasets and reports for tactical or strategic organizational initiatives. Job will involve analysis, development and testing of data integration logic (data warehouse) and presentation reports. This position requires the ability to work across departments, functions and levels to ensure requirements are properly developed and implemented ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops business requirements by working with requesting departments to ensure report accuracy and timeliness of completion.
- Should be able to write SQL queries for troubleshooting or report development.
- Maintains knowledge of new product capabilities as means to identify potential improvement opportunities (i.e. training, report redesign, etc.)
- Provides management team with adequate information to make decisions.
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Performs advanced areas of work for the professional field
- Identifies key barriers/core problems and applies problem-solving skills in order to deal creatively with complex situations. Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems.
- Makes decisions under conditions of uncertainty, sometimes with incomplete information, that produce effective end results
DECISION MAKING/SCOPE OF AUTHORITY:
- Independently performs assignments with instruction limited to results expected. Determines and develops approach to solutions
- Receives technical guidance only on unusual or complex problems or issues
- May manage elements/portions of a budget/project
- Seasoned professional contributor with responsibility for an advanced area of work in the professional field
- May be responsible for entire projects or functions having modest scope/impact or portions of projects having considerable scope/impact to department results
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline
- Generally 2-4 years of experience in related field with 1-2 years of progressive responsible positions, or verifiable ability,
OR
- MS/MA and generally 1-2 years of experience in related field. Certification is required in some areas
- 2+ years of report development experience.
- SQL Server System (T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS)
- Business intelligence tools (Tableau)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Exposure to programming language like python or R for data analytics.
- Exposure to large scale reporting tools (MicroStrategy, OBIEE, BO, Cognos)
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and communication skills; capable of developing well-structured communications and presentations
- Ability to interact with all levels of management, both internal and external, third party payers, and customers
- Advanced analytical skills, strategic and technical analysis and problem solving skills
- Ability to influence others to achieve desired results using tenacity and diplomacy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Highly organized, flexible, and able to multi-task while maintaining a high level of efficiency and superior attention to detail
- Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships and achieve results by working collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders
- Project management skills-ability to manage a complex data oriented program to produce on-time results and recommendations for action/next steps
