The Broad Institute's Cancer Program is dedicated to advancing cancer research and treatment through innovative and systematic approaches. The DepMap initiative aims to comprehensively map cancer vulnerabilities using functional genomics and other high-throughput screening methods. This effort seeks to identify optimal therapeutic targets for cancer treatment. DepMap has established the DepMap Consortium, a collaboration with leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies, to collectively build this pre-clinical resource. Additionally, DepMap is a key leader in PedDep, an initiative focused on accelerating target discovery for childhood cancers.
