Customer Lifecycle Management Strategist

Marketing Department

This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Culver City, CA.

Summary

The team is seeking an experienced lifecycle marketer with a passion for growing consumer subscription businesses. You will work with a wide variety of functional teams, including engineering, product, operations, data analytics, design, and business, to create programs that connect with customers in a privacy-friendly way. Your focus will be driving engagement, retention, and ensuring customers get the most out of their subscription service.

Our Ideal Candidate




  • 5-7 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, ideally in consumer subscription businesses.



  • Passion for subscription-based business growth with a strong foundation in engagement and retention strategies.



  • Proficient in A/B testing, data-driven optimization, and marketing tactics across push notifications, email, and in-app messaging.



  • Familiar with cross-functional collaboration across business, engineering, analytics, creative, and product teams.



  • Skilled in collaborating with stakeholders across multiple time zones.



  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.



  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholders.



  • Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail.



  • Strong project management skills and proven ability to deliver results in complex, large-scale environments.




Job Description

In this role, you will develop and optimize engagement and retention strategies for subscription services. You'll partner with cross-functional teams in marketing, engineering, analytics, product, and creative to design, test, and refine campaigns that improve performance against key metrics. This includes:




  • Building and executing customer journeys, value propositions, and educational messaging.



  • Submitting and maintaining operational briefs for flawless campaign execution.



  • Running A/B testing and providing strategic recommendations based on data insights.



  • Driving continuous improvement by analyzing results and applying learnings to future plans.




You will also support the marketing team's overall success by fostering strong internal partnerships, ensuring alignment on goals, and contributing to ongoing optimization of lifecycle marketing programs.

Education and Experience




  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).



  • Background in lifecycle marketing, retention strategy, or customer engagement.



  • Experience in consumer subscription business models preferred.

  • The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $73.00 - $75.00 per hour.
  • This position may be eligible for benefits such as PTO, health insurance, and 401(k), depending on tenure and hours worked.
