Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage lesson activities by assessing guest needs, aligning staff with those needs, and ensuring proper children's check-out procedures.
  • Train staff by developing and implementing orientation programs, educating on current PSIA/AASI methods, and preparing for certification exams.
  • Schedule staff to ensure appropriate coverage based on workload and communication with the operations scheduler.
  • Monitor lesson quality by observing group dynamics and assisting with special needs.
  • Handle service recovery by addressing and resolving guest concerns effectively.
  • Evaluate employee performance through feedback logs, coaching, policy enforcement, and performance reviews.
  • Maintain facilities by overseeing daily clean-up, snow removal, flag operations, and ensuring teaching aids are available.
  • Ensure report accuracy by verifying lesson records, approving payroll reports, and managing incident logs.
  • Contribute to the team by achieving related results as needed.


Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED


Preferred Experience:

  • PSIA/AASI Level II (or higher) or comparable (four years fulltime teaching experience would be comparable)
  • Knowledge of safety practices, CPR/first aid certification preferred
