Your Job

Koch-Glitsch is hiring an Inside Sales Representative to support our Mass Transfer and Mist Elimination businesses. In this role, you'll help drive profitable growth by providing technical support, timely communication, and efficient order execution. You'll work closely with Schedulers, Design Engineers, and Project Managers to deliver accurate quotes and outstanding customer service. Success in this role requires attention to detail, urgency, critical thinking, collaboration, and ownership of sales strategy.

Our Team

You'll be part of our Wichita-based Inside Sales team, which plays a key role in generating revenue for our Mass Transfer and Separations business. Our team works closely with engineering, operations, and outside sales to deliver reliable solutions and exceptional service, all grounded in a culture of respect, integrity, humility and accountability.

What You Will Do

  • Interpret engineered drawings to accurately estimate products and support the quoting process.
  • Prepare and follow up on customer quotations to ensure responsiveness and alignment with customer expectations.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and account targeting plans to drive growth.
  • Evaluate and negotiate commercial pricing and terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Enter purchase orders promptly and accurately.
  • Respond to customer inquiries with urgency and professionalism.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting customer deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Ensure adherence to customer compliance guidelines and internal policies
  • Collaborate across departments to align on pricing, product specifications, lead times, and delivery schedules.
  • Identify opportunities to grow business through upselling, cross-selling, and proactive account management.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems that assist in contributions to sales forecasting and reporting.
  • Support process improvements that enhance customer experience and internal efficiency.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience interpreting technical drawings, specifications, or process diagrams
  • Familiarity with CRM/ERP platforms (e.g. Salesforce, LN, PLM)
  • Background in the Oil and Gas industry

What Will Put You Ahead

  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or technical support.
  • Experience with mass transfer technologies such as trays, packing, or column internals.
  • Demonstrated success in margin-focused sales strategies.
