Recruiter Recruiting Jobs with David Evans and Associates:

David Evans and Associates (DEA) is seeking a Recruiter to join our high-impact Corporate Recruiting team. This is a strategic role with real room to shape how hiring happens, particularly in two essential and specialized business units: Survey and Geomatics and Marine Services.

Why DEA

David Evans and Associates (DEA) is known for combining science, engineering, and design to shape communities that thrive. Our Survey and Geomatics and Marine Services teams deliver foundational work that supports infrastructure, public safety, climate resilience, and sustainable growth across the country. By joining our Recruiting team, you'll be helping to build the future of those teams, and DEA itself.

This is a unique opportunity to directly support business units that are full of smart, dedicated, technical leaders. They've got big goals and high standards, and they need a recruiting partner who brings both structure and strategy to the table. You'll use your insight, sourcing skill, and recruiting acumen to build credibility and influence with your hiring teams over time. Your work will directly impact how these groups grow and evolve.

What You'll Do Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the recruiting lifecycle for mid- to senior-level technical and non-technical roles, from strategy and sourcing through selection and offer
  • Serve as a talent advisor to leaders in Survey and Geomatics and Marine Services, building deep, trusted partnerships through consistency, communication, and results. Please note, other roles may be assigned depending on workload and business need. Flexibility and a willingness to work towards the firm's greater growth goals is essential.
  • Source proactively using creative outreach methods to find hidden talent, especially for niche, hard-to-fill roles
  • Design tailored recruiting approaches that reflect the unique needs of your business units
  • Drive process efficiency and compliance, partnering closely with your internal team and ensuring accuracy in the Applicant Tracking System (Taleo)
  • Deliver candidate experiences that reflect DEA's people-first culture and long-term growth vision
  • Occasionally may, assist with the development, deployment, and maintenance of Recruiting programs and initiatives
What You Bring Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of progressive recruiting experience, with a track record of success in AEC or infrastructure-adjacent industries
  • Experience supporting complex technical roles in fields like surveying, geomatics, marine science, engineering, or geospatial services
  • Exceptional sourcing skills, especially in competitive or passive talent markets
  • Ability to influence hiring managers and build alignment across stakeholders
  • Comfort operating with autonomy, ambiguity, and accountability
  • Strong organizational instincts and a drive for process improvement
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system (Taleo preferred) and LinkedIn Recruiter
